At tonight's #WilmingtonMA School Committee Meeting, Superintendent Brand formally recommended a new PreK-5 school at the North Intermediate School site. (1/6)

"The current MSBA project provides a vitally important opportunity to bring about necessary and immediate improvements to the educational environments and experiences for three (3) of our school communities." - Brand

"This path transcends the ‘maintenance’ of these educational facilities and replaces outdated systems with a school facility that is designed to support modern-day teaching and learning.” - Brand

While no formal vote was taken, each School Committee member also voiced their support for the PreK-5 option at the North. Several members noted the feedback they've received from the community has been unanimous or near unanimous for that option.
