Even while active duty he tried to make every appointment, and got into so much grief with his 1SG because of it

He had me divide Paris’ developmental activities in half so he could do some in the evenings after end of day formation

I didn’t have to tell him my concerns when Paris wasn’t making milestones. He was right there seeing what I saw and we worked though it and her diagnosis together. It’s why he decided to transition to reserves instead of active duty.

So when y’all thank us for our service, I’m always taken off guard. I’m appreciative but unsure what to reply. Cause even now, we do this for us, we do this for them. It’s survival in a tough economic system.
