Today in the team we focused on some growth and connection. We acknowledge that we cannot pour from an empty cup and with lots of changes, challenges and opportunities for learning and growth within the team recently, we put some time aside to reconnect with a wellbeing activity.

We are so excited to announce that the SUN team won the silver award for team of the year at the #sabpstaffawards @sabp_nhs. A special thank you to all the members who nominated us and shared such kind words in the nomination. This award is for the whole community!

Today is a bittersweet day for SUN Team. Although we are so excited for our amazing colleague to jet off to start her next adventure, we will be loosing a wonderful member of our team who has been here since the beginning of Surrey SUN . We wish you all the best Melissa!

#learningatworkweek Learning at work is at the heart of the team. Everything we learn as a service and as individual goes straight into making sure the service is as effective as possible. Every day is an opportunity to learn from each other, services, members and ourselves.

We wanted to thank all the members who joined us on Tuesday for our first evening social. As a group we made pizzas, ate and laughed together, as well as engaged in some (healthy!) Competition with a board game. We are grateful that you all gave your time to the SUN community!
