In 2023, TOWN and createstreets worked with the Council, stakeholders and local people to develop a strategy for change in Sunniside. The Place Strategy was recently approved at a Council cabinet meeting and is now accessible to read on our website SunnisideSunderland.com

For those wondering, I timed it this morning and it is a seven minute walk from Keel Square to Pop Recs CIC and the refurbished Bridge Hotel. Add in Three Stories en route and maybe a diversion into Sunniside and a nice little route is forming.
