In June 1981, Sunshine Foundation sponsored the first gathering of children diagnosed with Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome. We hosted the 1st of 27 Progeria Reunions, bringing children together, so as our founder Bill said, “the children would not feel alone.”
