When Biden won the US presidential election in 2020, I wrote this thread about the different approaches to #animal issues from Trump and Biden. In light of Trump's recent comments on eating pets, maybe it's worth a revisit while I warm up for a new one for the coming election.

I predict 2025 will be the year I Ieave this platform. It's clearly not what it used to be, everything is nicer on #bluesky, and I have more and more followers there. Yes, there are still a few accounts I follow while waiting for them to migrate. But not much longer.
