Nov 25, 1950- “This issue of the Sun Devil Program is dedicated to Eddie Doherty, who makes his final Goodwin Stadium appearance as head coach of the Arizona State grid squad tonight.” The Devils won 48-21. Doherty finished his career in Tempe (1947-1950) with a record of 25-17.

Young Sun Devil Danny White comes to life. From 1971-1973 White led Sun Devil Football to a 32–4 record, winning three straight WAC Championships and Fiesta Sports Foundation(s). Some of his honors- 👉 College Football Hall of Fame (1997), first Arizonan inducted 👉 ASU Sports Hall of Fame (1975)
