Nothing beats the feeling of updating a servers rdp port but forgetting to update the firewall rules beforehand.

I've been getting quite a few messages about yesterdays viewership figures. Zach Bussey 🇨🇦 has covered it in great detail. Here is an updated daily viewership chart, last green bar is yesterday which was the 3rd lowest this year with only 28th June and New years day lower.

Site will have some downtime this evening starting around 9:30 central as my host does some hosty things.

Who doesn't like a nice chart on a Saturday? Twitch viewership in September/October averaged 15% more than in 2021. The 2nd last week of October was the smallest difference so far, being 6% higher.

I probably don't need VS 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2022 installed...

The idea that Twitch is paying AWS rates for video delivery is rather amusing, their posts numbers would put the total cost at ~1.15 billion for the past year
