Huge congratulations to the 3rds on their 4-1 victory in the Gibson Plate Final against Regent today. A great all-round team performance with Sullivan dominating many parts of the match, goals scored by Sophie McF, Hannah H and 2 from Chloe McD. Well done girls #susproud👏🏆💚🖤

Another proud day for Sullivan hockey starting with the U14’s lifting the Junior Shield after a very entertaining and competitive match v Lurgan JHS. The match ended 0-0 so a series of run-ins followed, Izzy made 3 great saves leaving the final score 3-2. Well done girls👋🏆

It was then the turn of the 4’s v MCB. Another very closely fought contest which looked like it was also going to run-ins but a breakaway goal in the final 1/4 sealed it for Methody. The girls fought right to the end but unfortunately couldn’t get the equaliser they deserved💚🖤

On Wednesday we held our Stayers v Leavers match, a very enjoyable and highly competitive match resulting in a narrow 4-3 victory for the stayers. It was great to have all our 22 leavers playing, what a fab bunch, thank-you for playing for 7 years, we’ll miss you very much😢💚🖤

We had over 100 girls representing their houses in 2 very competitive tournaments on Sat. Speers emerged victors in the Juniors edging out Praeger by 1 goal and Praeger came 1st in the Senior competition. Overall results were: 3rd = Grant, McAlester 2nd- Speers 1st- Praeger👏🏆

A super end to Junior hockey for the U14’s on their mini tour to Dublin. With matches v Alexandra College, dinner at Nando’s, a little bit of shopping and a visit to Jump Zone, a great time was had by all💚🖤

On the Wednesday before the end of term we held our annual awards dinner in the Clayton hotel, Belfast. With almost 200 girls in attendance we celebrated a very successful season and presented awards for Top Goal-scorer, Most Improved, Player of the year and Team personality🏆

We awarded overall Top Goal-scorer to Chloe, a new award to Izzy; the Goalkeeper with most clean sheets and the Junior+Senior Outstanding contribution awards to Annabel and Rebecca. We thanked 22 Year 14 girls for their great contribution and wished them well for their futures💚

Massive congratulations to Lucy A who is heading to Scotland with the Ulster U18’s at the weekend. All the best Lucy💪we’re very proud of you💚🖤
