Officially sworn in as a Councillor this afternoon! Let the work begin.

We fully condemn the comments of independent councillor Daniel Fry. He is not a Labour Party councillor, nor is he a councillor in Bristol. He is a town councillor in Patchway, South Gloucestershire.

My experience working for the NHS led me to seek to represent people in Bristol South. My experience in Opposition and recently as a NHS patient drives my determination for a Labour Government. Thankyou to NHS teams in Bristol, looking forward to the campaign Bristol South Labour

Here are the highlights from last week’s full council. Our councillors discussed many difficult topics from tackling knife crime, to our duties as corporate parents towards those in foster care, equity & inclusion, ending austerity, and addressing violence towards women & girls.
