I had a great time visiting Philadelphia Works' Women in Nontraditional Careers and meeting participants in their Tradeswomen Readiness Program with Mayor Cherelle L. Parker. This pre-apprenticeship program, funded by USDOL Women's Bureau's WANTO grant, is designed to help women enter & succeed in the trades.
