Planning the details for the installation of the #interpretation with @gplusstudio , James Boon Architects and the contractor today. The #Sudbury local history group have been researching and crafting much of the content, which will form part of this. Great collaborative working!

@gplusstudio are on site this week installing some of our heritage interpretation. This includes the recreation of a Retort Bench, where the coal was heated. Local JCB apprentices have also played an important role with this aspect; creating the frame & the retorts.

Hugely grateful to Vaillant UK for supplying our #airsourceheatpump. #Vaillant was founded in 1874,around the time the gasworks was built. Their UK HQ is in Belper. Thank you to Nic for his early interest in our project and making the links. #heritage #restoration #conservation
