The GW situation is improved for #Karnataka . As per latest #Gw assessment report #Overexploited blocks have reduced from 49 to 44 and #Safe blocks have gone up from 139 to 144 than to 2022.

GW Resource Assessment report for the yr 2023 is released by @MoJSDoWRRDGR. Total recharge of groundwater in the country has reached 449 BCM, increase of 11.5 BCM than to 2022. Over-Exploited areas have declined to 11% & safe areas have gone up to 73%.
