Thank you lyngardner for including Instructions - which begins today! "Nathan Ellis is such an interesting theatre maker, with shows ranging from Super High Resolution at Soho Theatre to work.txt, a thrillingly fluid piece of performance" festival24.summerhall.co.uk/events/instruc…
5 beautiful deeply exciting shows I loved at Edinburgh: -Ugly Sisters piss / CARNATION - Instructions eve allin SUBJECT OBJECT - Main Character Energy by Temi Wilkey Bobby Harding - Bellringers by Daisy Hall ATTICIST - Playfight Grace Dickson Productions (Obvs also Duck!!!!)
Instructions is up and running! 🎬 From makers of work.txt, ★★★★★ (The Guardian) Instructions is a show about AI & the dying days of capitalism, performed by a different actor every day 13.10 Old Lab, Summerhall, 1-26 August 📸 Alex Brenner
We LOVED Son of a Bitch Play over the weekend! A gem of #edfringe if you’re looking for something hilarious and moving in equal measures Also SUBJECT OBJECT Instructions has us coming back for more… SO so great. A triumph of experimental theatre. Both at @Summhallery !
Sean Wai Keung Summerhall Edinburgh Festival Fringe instructions is the new show from SUBJECT OBJECT (makers of the brilliant ‘play with no actors’, work.txt). It’s a tragicomic tech parable re AI performed by a different unrehearsed actor every day. Definitely worth seeing. Melancholy and - ironically given its subject - human.
REVIEW: 4 stars to #Instructions SUBJECT OBJECT @summerhallery 'A paradigm-shifting investigation of AI and Humanity. The play offers no easy answers but compels us to engage with these pressing ethical dilemmas' #theatre #edinburgh #review #whatson wp.me/pdXz8Y-2P4
Headed out of my beloved Edinburgh. Yesterday I loved seeing Sam Kissajukian's 300 Paintings, SUBJECT OBJECT's Instructions, Raul Kohli, & of course Tim Key's WIP, which was practically perfect despite supposedly being a draft.

Saw the ever excellent Tim Crouch 🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺 in SUBJECT OBJECT’s thought provoking and seriously funny Instructions. The kind of theatre that the Fringe ought to be all about. Highly recommended.
