The dashcam app shows the GPS data separately. I wondered how they did it. Apparently you can store custom data inside an MP4 file, it's what that "bin_data" codec is. It also revealed the manufacturer: ShenShu. One Chinese manufacturer, many different brands.

When I was in school (2013), using FFmpeg was in our syllabus. We had to use WinFF, the GUI client of ffmpeg to convert videos. I think there was even a practical exam for it, not sure though. Is it still in the current Kerala state syllabus? Not sure.
