Our year 11 students had a fantastic morning at their leavers' assembly. We're sending them lots of good luck for their exams next week! #TeamSUA

Year 11 have the opportunity to attend pre-exam sessions in addition to their usual timetabled lessons. The timetable for week commencing Monday 15th May in the image below!

"I'm no good at sport ... I really struggle with exams" Sound familiar? IWhat if you could excel at anything you put your mind to? Practical, insightful and positive, this is the book to help young people build resilience, embrace their mistakes and grow into successful adults.

The Key Stage 3 Maths Challenges are now available online with Microsoft TEAMS. Students can complete by logging onto their Year team and then send to Mr Kirk or their normal Maths teacher. Family members are encouraged to help and are also welcome to enter.

Pre-exam sessions have been a huge success and beneficial to attendees last week. This week, subject staff will be offering the pre-exam sessions below:

Half-term is approaching so why not grab a good book to read? 'If He Had Been with Me' by Laura Nowlin has taken TikTok by storm! A "heart-rendingly romantic story of lost love and second chances" this book is popular with boys and girls.

Described by one reader as having "perfect characters", Erik J.Brown's 'All That's Left in the World' is a post-apocalyptic thriller telling the tale of two boys as they navigate the world which has been destroyed after the Superflu wipes out most of humanity. Well worth a read!

SUA6’s JLT has hosted a hugely successful charity event over break time today for the Katherine Allport Foundation. A fashion and dance show by the staff and sixth formers with a pink theme raised over £310 on its own. Well done to everyone who took part! #TeamSUA
