Wonderful overview at #Lorneiandi of the current status and future threats of influenza from Patrick Reading WHO CC Influenza Melbourne UniMelb MDHS. Some scary scenarios, lucky to have such dedicated and clever people working on this VIIN

Is it only parasitologists that are happy to sit through one talk on maggots, then another on worms in horseshit before an evening meal together? What other weirdos do this? Great to get together with the Melbourne Aust Soc for Para folks- thanks Lucas Huggins for organising.

Join us online tomorrow to hear two Aust Soc for Para talks on malaria for World Malaria Day. Frankie Lyons WEHI (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute) talking about Transmission-blocking nanobodies and Ashton Kelly Institute for Molecular Bioscience on Immune heterogeneity in NK cells during controlled infection parasite.org.au/blog/asp-onlin…

Congratulations Sophie Collier on a fantastic presentation on organelle inheritance in malaria parasites at BioMalPar #EMBLMalaria EMBL Events

Hey ChrisHunter we had a terrific Immunology session at BioMalPar this week in Heidelberg. Geoff McFadden even asked a immunologyish question. But am I correct in understanding from the session that you folks are still not all *100%* agreed about how we aquire immunity?
