Welcome news today is that i've been offered a review copy of this wonderfully titled poetry collection by Bobby Gant, out with Razur Cuts. Sounds right up my alley. How about that for a cover too? Eagerly awaiting this one. Watch this space πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€

Even by Peace's ridiculous standards, this understated lament and paean that recasts a modern myth as the human tragedy it was, is magnificent. Deserves to be garlanded with awards and sell absolutely shitloads. He's one of the very, very best we have.

Feeling totally stressed out and overfaced today by the Everest of lit stuff i'm staring at. Dig your own grave and lay in it, i spose; it's me that generates all this work but still, fuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Not slept properly for days either. Weeks, actually. Again.

Just been talking to a homeless lad outside the petrol station in Adel - said i was the first person to talk to him in FIVE hours. Sleeping in the graveyard over the road, as a lot of homeless do, cos no one will go there at night. Talk about a walking metaphor. So, so bleak.

I've been involved with the MD crew more or less since the account appeared way back when. Memorial Device has built an amazingly tight community here; their support for this book, and my work in general, over the years, has been so humbling it's hard to put into words πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

THIS is the positive side of social media, and how the whole thing SHOULD work. Made so many great mates and new connections through this community, and continue to do so all the time. Memorial Device - bringing people together since 2018. A heroic endeavour πŸ™βœŠ

Al's been a great champion for this. Read it and weep, and see what Starmer and go appear to have no intention whatsofuckingever of doing anything about. #ChildPoverty #Austerity

A small but mighty press doing the right things for the right reasons, with a clear vision if where they want to be and how they're going to get there. I tipped one of theirs in The Bookseller πŸ‘Œ thebookseller.com/spotlight/libr…

#BookTwitter if you can still hear me - I want to know what the best novels you've read this year are, pls. Bonus points for small presses but nothing self-published cos I'm looking at stock gaps for work and I can't buy those. RT's appreciated. GOGOGO!

I used to get HUNDREDS of replies to these once upon a time so let's see how broken this gaff really is. Are you people still out there? Show yourselves!
