Yesterday, Kamran Shafiq and Agnes Chevalier were representing SCENE at #RcpsychWASP23 talking about PPI contributions throughout the Programme so far. Hopefully next time, we’ll be presenting the results!





Before the weekend, we said goodbye to Jodie Smith who has been working on the SCENE study with Social Psychiatry for almost two years. Whilst we are sad to see her go, she is leaving research to pursue an exciting new career in software engineering. Best of luck Jodie 💫



📣Check out this new publication! Written in collaboration with people with lived experience, three research programs linked to the Unit (SCENE SCENE Study, TACK TACK Study and OPAL), discuss their different strategies and reflections on involvement


This week's Unit seminar was led by Natalia from SCENE Study who gave an update on the large RCT they are currently running. After recruiting 578 P's they have now completed all 12-month follow ups with a high follow up rate. Final results will be available end of the year

The SCENE programme was featured as part of Tessa Roberts talk at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health annual showcase today, where she spoke about the work of the Social Psychiatry and how it relates to resilience


Today ENMESH mental health Conference Phil & Agnes from the TACK Study & SCENE Study, respectively, were joined by colleagues from City University to host a symposium discussing resource orientation in mental health care. Great session with some great questions from the audience


Today we were at Warwick Med School for the inaugural lecture of our Chief Investigator - Professor Domenico Giacco. It was great to hear about how SCENE fits into his career so far as well as how his research has been shaped by both Social Psychiatry and warwickMHWB
