Hand made 1:20 scale model. Often, physical models are the most effective way to represent a design or convey an idea. They provide a level of understanding that you cannot receive from a 2-D representation like a floor plan or elevation.

Site visit at Trefil.

New project: We proposed to convert an old stone barn in Trefil into a compact two-storey residence. Our approach will involve inserting a new structure behind the traditional stone walls, leaving the exterior of the building largely unchanged.

Great to see the scaffolding dropped to see the wonderful facade. Looking forward to seeing the views out now the netting has been pulled. The project has taken an empty office block and repurposed it into twelve new assisted living units, with commercial on the ground floor.

Completed: rear extension in #Neath

We were in Cardiff last night for the @the_rsaw Welsh Architecture Awards 2025 Celebration. We were proud to have been shortlisted for the Dewi-Prys Thomas Award.

On-site: A project close to finishing. The design was an exercise in plan versus section. A high level roof light placed for views but also to allow sunlight to penetrate deep into the plan.
