I've just been to the parkrun start line in Lister Park Bradford and saw this, I guess someone is out for a test run before the big day! Oh, and don't forget, we're happening on Christmas Day so we'll see you at 9am! πŸŽ…πŸŽ‰πŸŒ³ #lovesanta #lovechristmas #loveparkrun

The new leader, worshipped by all. He liked to lace his speeches with words of hope and wisdom, but they always sounded like criticisms, judgements and spite. He never knew his beloved followers felt loathing towards him; he thought they loved him, until... #vss365 #Prompt #lace

Can't believe that this was the last bit of writing I did on X almost two years ago; going to get cracking again now with vss365 and other things, and I'll try to up the quality a bit as well! πŸ˜‚

Sue continued to fawn over her lecturers hoping to sway them into keeping her on the course despite her struggles, but after her last failed test there really seemed no hope. This was her 7th attempt at completing a degree and was now running out of subjects to try! #vss365 #fawn

She looked on with amusement at the weir; a grey, controlling, level altering concrete step in the river. Ugly, so ugly, and so impractical to build her lodge there. The beaver looked, laughed, and swam downstream to start building her natural beautiful dam. #vss365 #prompt #Weir

One mile test run complete and knee is okay so far but taking it very slow and steady - 1 km done, now 1 mile done, next will be a 2 km 😱 probably not until Monday as I'll be helping out at Bradford Literature Festival #BradfordLitFest πŸ“š all weekend!

Just done a very very hot 2k easy run to test the knee again and it's survived once more πŸ₯³ so I'll continue the very steady increase of distance over the coming weeks but I'm currently a long way off my beginning of the year running fitness levels πŸ˜„

Been looking after this fine young man (Portrait of Mai by Joshua Reynolds) yesterday again in Cartwright Hall, well worth a visit especially on a Wednesday when we're both there! Bradford Museums & Galleries Bradford 2025 #portraitofmai #joshuareynolds

First proper parkrun run since April - I was planning to do the new East Holmes Field parkrun in Ilkley but that was cancelled as I arrived, so change of plan and nipped to Skipton instead - definitely not flat that one which is what I was ideally after πŸ˜‚ #loveparkrun
