Even saw this happening on the remote western isle this summer, nature constantly under pressure from oblivious / irresponsible dog owners. What can be done as 90% of the population now seem to own dogs?

Hi Sainsbury's I just about understand you putting the price up 30-40% over the last few years, but today you have made them half the size, come on, this is a step too far. Look at the size of them, this has to be a joke!

After a hard going few days of migrant hunting it was nice to find this Red-backed shrike late on today at winterton, bit distant and brief, but very welcome #norfolkbirds

Found this cracking Red breasted flycatcher at winterton this afternoon, initially very sluggish & napping, then became much more sprightly, even fed on the floor a few metres away oblivious to my presence. Also 5 redstarts, winterton/horsey, song thrushes, robins & goldcrests.

After Saturdays seawatching extravaganza, Sunday was quieter, with a brief seawatch, then onto kenidjack and cot valleys, saw 9 firecrest, pied fly, 2 spot fly and chiffchaffs but not the hoped for yank passerine! Finished with a phalarope twitch at gwithian.
