Let us become pilgrims of hope! Peoples, nations, and all creatures need those who choose to move towards communion. Others will follow. Let us return to building bridges where there are now walls. Let us open doors, connect worlds, and hope will spring forth. #JubileeAudience

After Mr Jordan's message in Friday's assembly about road safety, Y4 created these posters to remind all of us of the dangers of roads and crossing responsibly. We all have a part to play! ✅Look both ways. ✅Use traffic crossings. ✅Never stop or park on school zig zags.

Congratulations to each of our Confirmandi, who are now 'Confirmed' with the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit. You will now go out as modern-day Apostles. 'Then they saw what looked like tongues of fire which spread out and touched each person there.' (Act 2:3) 🕊️🔥 #SThomCW

During #RefugeeWeek this week, we are challenged to be a 'Community as a Superhero'. The question is, what can each of us do? Year 5 have led us in an important assembly about promoting the right values to support those who have no choice. #SThomCST #SThomCL #SThomSOS 🧡🧡🧡

Hot temperatures today! All children should have a water bottle to stay hydrated, sunscreen should be applied and hats are also strongly advised. During break and lunch today, children will have full access to shaded areas on the school site. Enjoy the sun but also respect it!

Today, members of staff had the chance to experience firsthand how one of our 'Outreach' partners works. At the end of #refugeeWeek, they were able spend their morning volunteering in St Chad's Sanctuary 🧡 organising home supplies for those in need. #SThomSOS #SThomCST 🧡

Year 6 took part in some very important workshops across the whole morning around using mobile phones and social media responsibly. They have learnt skills and strategies to ensure their online presence is built on respect. Thank you Loudmouth T.I.E. for these sessions. 📱💻 #STMRHE

As part of 'Inter-Faith' week, Year 6 have been learning about #Sikhism. They have learnt about its origins, The 5Ks and the festival of Vaisakhi (with some Bhangra moves for good measure). #SThomRE

Temporary lights near the school are creating major traffic jams at peak times. Please ensure you leave plenty of time for drop off and pick up. Also, please remember safety - several children were spotted exiting cars into the middle of the road this morning. #RoadSafety 🚦

A reminder that this Sunday is the feast of St Peter and St Paul, two very important saints in the history of the church. As mentioned in the school dates, Fr Christopher will be welcoming our Year 6 Confirmation children to Sunday's mass at 11am.
