Year 3 had great fun making a start to their new Art project by exploring different types of charcoal through mark making. They smudged their marks with their fingers as well seeing how it reacted to water. Well done team 👏

Year Four enjoyed their first experience of the flute this afternoon! 🪈

Year 6 enjoyed learning about the artist Lubaina Himid and exploring using acrylic paints on a variety of surfaces. A lovely start to their 2D drawing to 3D making project.

Yesterday, Year 5 were testing material's properties and considered why particular materials might be suitable to make everyday objects.

Yea 2 took their Art lesson outside. Using natural materials from our environment to create their own Andy Goldsworthy inspired works. Lovely work 👍

Year one have started their spiral project in Art. They used their whole bodies to create some fantastic examples. Well done team 🌀

In Art Year 3 explored the work of Laura McKendry and Edgar Degas. Using charcoal to recreate a Degas ballerina 🩰 Fabulous efforts all round. 🤩
