This morning, as part of our Holy Week worships, Dosbarth Seren led a beautiful Last Supper worship. We depicted how Jesus shared his last meal with his apostles, and left us with his greatest commandment ‘love one another, as I have loved you’.

To finish our topic ‘Red Dragons and Rugby Balls’, we looked at the Welsh artist Ernest Zobole. We discussed the style of his artwork and worked hard to recreate it. All our finished pieces were amazing 🖌🎨🌟

Dosbarth Enfys have been exploring capacity this week. We estimated how many cups it would take to fill different containers. We made some really good estimates and we’re careful to fill the containers accurately. Gwaith da pawb!

Dosbarth Seren enjoyed creating their Road to Emmaus artwork inspired by various artists! We listened to the story (Luke 24:13-35) and imagined how the disciples felt seeing Jesus resurrected after his death. We discussed how important it is to recognise Jesus in our own lives!

We are delighted to share that we have been reaccredited as a Platinum Eco-School and have obtained a new green flag! Diolch yn fawr to our eco committee for all your hard work! ♻️🌍

This week we have been learning all about the promise of The Holy Spirit after Jesus’ resurrection. We made Ascension mobiles to show how Jesus’ disciples must have felt during this time.

Today Dosbarth Seren led a beautiful Crowning of the May Queen worship. We focused on Mary’s role in Jesus’ life, and her role in our lives too. We then processed up to our outdoor Marian Grotto to adorn Our Lady’s statue with a beautiful flower crown and bouquets of flowers!

Dosbarth Seren had a wonderful time this morning with joanne goddard. We had a brilliant outdoor learning session and learnt about the woodland habitat and food chains in the woodland.

Dosbarth Enfys loved their session with Jo from joanne goddard yesterday! We learnt all about the different animals that live in the woods and what their typical habitat would be and what they eat. We even met some special friends along the way! Diolch yn fawr Jo!
