This fall, I got an e-mail from a guy named JM Simpson who'd read things I'd written about homelessness. He mentioned he was a photojournalist in Olympia and that he'd been photographing the unhoused population there. He wanted to share some work with me . . . (1)

Please retweet, sheep falling on their backs happens a lot- and can be fatal, especially with pregnant sheep. Grab a handful of wool and turn them over... 🐑

We rescued this poor vixen who was hanging by her tail with a bloody head from trying to free herself. She's lactating so we're urging people around Orchard Road, to call if they see her cubs so we can reunite them at the wildlife hospital

A pangolin’s diet is mostly made up of ants & termites, so you can imagine how beneficial they are when it comes to insect control. Just one pangolin can eat enough termites to protect over 40 acres of land from destruction. Happy weekend from these vital forest guardians! 🌿

Parading an injured, terrified animal with his mouth taped shut around a bar is clearly an example of torment and emotional torture. Help ensure this wolf gets justice. speciesunite.com/demand-justice… Please sign and share.

Now the females have emerged from hibernation you may find your regular male visitors have disappeared. Their incredibly sensitive noses catch the scent of a girl and they are off, on a mission, not stopping to eat until they find her.
Please keep providing food as they will

Can polar bears adapt to longer summers on land? The short answer: no.

There are lots of newly awakened hedgehogs around right now, walking great distances, crossing roads, in search of food and a mate.
Getting home 10 minutes later because you drove slowly won’t make that much difference to you, but it could make all the difference in the world
