I wonder if it was ahead of its time. Retro genre benders seem to be something of a growing subgenre today. (Eg. #HappyDeathDay and #TotallyKiller) And #TheFinalGirls seems like a mid-budget title that would work well as a direct-to-streaming film on #Amazon or #Hulu. #FinalGirls
