Very proud to visit today the Forbiden City where the ‘NIKI LAB’, the China-Greece ‘Belt and Road’ Joint Laboratory on Cultural Heritage Conservation Technology is located. It was established by the Palace Museum and our Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of FORTH.

Excellent news!!! In the last EIC-Pathfinder call, TWO of our proposals, one of which are coordinating, have been granted. The EIC Pathfinder call is the most prestigious one, after European Research Council (ERC) , for performing high-quality fundamental research in Europe.

In order to ensure Europe’s competitive edge in global science and technology, the ERC Scientific Council calls for a doubling of the budget of the next EU research framework programme (FP10) and maintaining the ERC’s independence. Read the statement: erc.europa.eu/news-events/ne…
