Nothing else needs to be said… you got to love these students. They are always wanting to let you know about something. I am bald but no offense taken because she wrote in Spanish….. on a Friday last period.

Who says verb conjugation must be boring? Use music to naturally enhance engagement and memory. Let’s get students excited for everything! They CAN learn! Our beliefs can shape their expectations. ⁦Jonathan Alsheimer

Twinning with this gem of a student to get ready for Battle of the Classes 2025 Manalapan HS. This event is always amazing! Hats off to Brooke for rocking that bald cap all day and crushing it. Did we pull off Pitbull? I think so!

When your students are excited to see you they write on the board the things you say to get the class excited: “If you enter class, you have to dance.”

Why do 1st year Spanish students always end up CRUSHING it!! These freshmen acquired sooo much language. Proficiency, student-centered learning, context not translation and good times for the WIN!

“TPR was able to reach any student no matter their skill set” is what a student once said. “Flip Flop” game builds community, checks student comprehension, and encourages risk-taking.

I love how 5 words in English are 2 words in Spanish. How much does it cost? ¿Cuánto cuesta? Can you think of some more examples?

I just called a mom to inform her of the amazing job her daughter is doing in Spanish class and the daughter picks up speaking in Spanish thinking it was a telemarketer. I am doing my job!

We trained for this in Spanish 1-instant Spanish convo as soon as they walk in. Now it’s automatic and it’s awesome!!! Walk in. Speak Spanish. No hesitation. Just vibes.

A Must Listen. 1. If students don’t feel the urgency (the need to speak in the target language) it’s going to be really hard. 2. You don’t need perfect grammar. 3. We must put ourselves in a situation where communication is needed.
