Group 2 Firefighters were called to a residence for a report of a puppy trapped in a heating vent. The puppy fell from the second floor to the basement. The puppy was rescued and is doing great. Great work Group 2! Also thanks to Irondequoit Police Monroe Ambulance for your help! #roc

We are currently assisting the North Greece Fire District district while they are helping at a fire in Hilton.

Today SPFD responded to a report of a fire on Suburba Ave. crews entered the house w/smoke coming from a 2nd story den. With a computer on fire. damaged was kept to the one room. This was a classic case of why closing your doors at night is so important. Tks to our mutual aid.
