Transmission in my chase car is finally gone. I’m “on the shelf” until I can get some type of resolution to this problem.

I’ll be glad when June 2024 is over. During this month I lost the transmission in my chase car and broke 2 bones in my left foot. Definitely on the sidelines for a month to 6 weeks.

Okay fellow storm chasers, I just got a speeding ticket from Lee County Iowa via a video camera speeding monitor. Just got it today in the mail - happened back in May 2024. This was a state road - not interstate. Lee County boosting their revenue.

I chased and documented the Elkhorn Nebraska tornado. It’s just been upgraded from an EF3 to an EF4.

Had a tornado warned cell but could not get to it. Stuck in traffic on I95 near walterboro SC. Wreck has both southbound lanes blocked.

Had to say goodbye to my chase car for 10 years. Transmission went out and no way to fix it. Cost $5000.00 to replace. Over 300,000 miles. Never left me stranded. Looking for another used Camry to replace it.

Oklahoma- Kansas border during a high risk day. This storm was off the charts.

It’s amazing what you can see in a storm. Got a pic with lightning illumination and one without. To me, it’s a lady’s face.

Saw the comet just a little before sunset. No binoculars/telescope needed. Goes by very fast. Will be out over the next several days.
