WHEN I DIE- I want heaven to look just like Motor City Comic Con. Miles of comics, collectibles, celebrities! Not sure I can see it all in a day. ( gonna try!)

COFFEE with SCREAM- Sunday morning classic horror films, just like in the days of my youth! This week’s film-CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON (1954). Definitely one of the best monster films ever made and the end of an era as SciFi/Horror dominated the screen in the 1950’s.

Spending this weekend in Davisburg Mi at the biggest outdoor/indoor antique show I’ve ever seen. Don’t know what I’m looking for, but I’ll know it when I see it!

Thursday Night Gamers playing JAWS! I’m off to a bad start. Shark ate six swimmers and took a chunk out of my boat on his first attack. Think I’m gonna need a bigger boat!

This magazine was such an important part of my childhood. I still love rereading old issues of this magazine just as much as any comic.

PRICE GOUGING! - it’s the year 1969 in my Marvel Comics reread marathon. I noticed the cover price just jumped from 12 CENTS to 15 CENTS! It’s outrageous! How many comic fans out there are willing to pay that much???

I've broken the first rule of Trench Club, my local store had it prominently displayed so I got it. You don't see a World War 1 game every day.

COFFEE with CAP! - I don’t know what’s cooler in this 1969 issue of CAPTAIN AMERICA. Rick Jones becomes the new Bucky? First appearance of Madame Hydra? Or the fact I can buy a live monkey and have it mailed to my house for $18.95?

CINEMA WASTELAND HORROR FILM CONVENTION! - living the good life immersed in all things horror! Hard to find movies, posters, T-shirts , etc. It’s the monster fans version of paradise!!!

SALEM’S LATTE - throwing on my favorite Salem’s Lot T-shirt and making that Coffee to go as I drive south to Strongsville Oh for the CINEMA WASTELAND convention! Perfect place to be for any monster/sci-fi fan!

COFFEE at OSCORP! This is the 2nd issue of Amazing Spider-Man that I owned. My 9 year old brain practically melted at the intense drama this book presented. Great memories attached as my dad bought this for me at the grocery store mag rack in 1973!

COFFEE WITH TWO-FACE - enjoying last week’s comic show finds. This Bronze Age gem was a must have - reprints Detective Comics 66 (1942) featuring the first appearance of Two Face!
