Year 6 have been working hard as historians to discover information about the Shang Dynasty. We have used atlases to find out where the civilisation was based and studied the chronology of it using timelines. We can’t wait to find out more about dragons and the oracle bones 🦴🐲

Our Cross Country club started last week, woo! We did 2 laps of the field, shuttle runs against our friends, and ended our club with hill sprints to build up our calf muscles. We go again after school today. 🏃

In preparation for our self portrait painting, the Reception children have been learning about the parts of the face. After singing the face song and looking in the mirror we used loose parts to create transient art faces. Don’t they look great! #LetYourLightShine

We held our first match attax swap club yesterday at lunchtime. We enjoyed exchanging cards, admiring one other's collections, and discovering new football trivia.

Reception loved taking part in their first Drawing Club this week. We learnt the story of the Colour Monster, thought of actions for the emotions and had fun making marks linking to our drawings. We also enjoyed engaging in Colour Monster themed provision. #LetYourLightShine

Year 5 enjoyed creating their own levers in our science lesson. We investigated how much force was needed to lift the ‘load’ when moving the fulcrum into different positions.
