Spent the morning at St Matthew's Academy delivering a pupil transition & retention feedback session. Was also great to see the development of the schools rugby programme over the year thanks to A.A.R.F.C Development Officer and St Matthew's PE

The generation of domination continues with Staff beat the S6 2-0 in today's big match. Given the seniors won the Ayrshire cup last month we can only assume this makes the teachers the best team in Ayrshire... A lack of steel cost the boys the victory. (Pupils in gold).

At Kilmacolm for the #TalkaGoodGame festival using rugby to promote positive mental health in young people. Great to see pupils from St Matthew's PE Irvine Royal PE Dept

Our St Matthew's Academy S3 Boys Rugby Team won the #talkagoodgame tournament at St Columba's School Sport today winning all of their matches while also participating in various valuable inputs related to mental health, suicide prevention, bullying, drugs and alcohol etc. Thanks to all involved.
