This year, #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek is all the more significant because of the challenges so many have faced, and still face. We must continue to stand together, and for one anther; asking for help when we need, and recognising those who need our help, even without them asking.

Commemorating the departure of #SaintAthanasiusTheApostolic, father of the #Coptic Orthodox Church and great theologian to the whole world throughout generations, we give thanks for his life and witness, and for his legacy that is the foundational #Creed for the Church Universal.

For anyone feeling tired, anxious, uncertain, burdened, sad, fatigued or weakened today, remember: “...those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint” Isa40:31

Today, the #Coptic Orthodox Church celebrates the Feast of the Entry of our Lord Jesus Christ into Egypt, which became a home and refuge for the first years of His precious life. On this day, let us remember that every child fleeing danger and conflict is a child of God.

Such a blessing to have been at @SMAAMChurch for the past two days, for Divine Liturgy on Sunday, and then the beautiful wedding of two of our Coptic Youth Mission team on Monday. “As for the saints who are on the earth, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight” Ps16:2-3
