Hitchin Festival is over for now but ‘Save the date’ for one more lovely Friday lunchtime free promenade concert at St Mary’s Church, 6th September at 1pm-2 pm. This time we are supporting an important charity researching cures for eye problems which can cause blindness.

What a fantastic day for St Mary’s Flower Festival! Many hundreds of visitors today for the spectacular flower show put on by the Home Counties area of National Association of Flower Arranging Societies. Their beautiful displays are still here tonight at our concert & Sunday pm!

A wonderful final day to the Flower Festival weekend at St Mary’s! Many thanks to all who came & supported it & our extra evening events. We hope this has given a flying start to our fundraising Appeal to upgrade our ‘medieval’ facilities so everyone can enjoy the church!
