There’s a lot going on next week in the department with the launch of our enrichment clubs and the start of the football season…

The boys’ football season got underway tonight, a 1-0 defeat to Tanfield School in the first game was soon forgotten with a 2-0 victory over Belmont PE & Sport followed by a 3-0 win against Team St Roberts 🔵⚽️🙌🏼

Sadly results didn’t match the hard work and attitude of the Year 8 boys’ football team tonight who lost 3 close games 1-0, 2-0 and 3-1 to Belmont PE & Sport, Hermitage and Team St Roberts respectively…

A tough game to start tonight, losing 0-4 to last year’s League Champions but a quick recovery saw our Year 9 boys’ take home 6 points from 1-0 and 2-1 victories over Biddick and Framwellgate respectively 🔵⚽️🙌🏼

Meanwhile in Lanchester, our Year 7 boys bowed out of the County Cup 0-6 to a very strong PE Dept. St. Bede's team whilst our Year 11s won 1-0 to register their first 3 points in the league 🔵⚽️🙌🏼

A superb comeback from 1-0 down in the rain tonight at St John’s saw our boys score 3 goals in the last 10 minutes to progress to the next round⚽️🔵👏🏼

The pupils have made some great progress at our Dance and Gymnastics club over the past two weeks and had a lot of fun on the way! Same time next week and everyone’s welcome🤸🏼‍♂️🔵🙌🏼

A mixed bag of results tonight but a huge first 3 points for our Year 7 boys who beat Belmont 1-0. Unfortunately the boys lost their other 2 games 2-0 to St Robert’s and Hermitage. Our Year 10 boys lost 1-0 and 2-0 to Consett and Framwellgate respectively! 🔵⚽️🙌🏼

A tough night for our depleted Year 8 boys’ football team tonight, but we’ll dust ourselves down and go again next week 💪🏼🔵⚽️
