I like the move that Oli made by pulling Fedde in the 2nd. Thats a move by someone who is going all-in on trying to win this game. Unfortunately for him, the Cardinals do not have a deep bullpen at all. But it shows how little faith that Oli has in Fedde at this point.

Jacob Misiorowski is a phenomenal young talent, but selecting him as an all-star after 5 starts over guys like Sonny Gray and many other good pitchers who have grinded all season is malpractice. It's an exhibition, but it's also an honor and the most deserving should be there.

Misiorowski has a 2.81 ERA in 25.2 IP this year. Erick Fedde had a 5 start stretch this year where he had a 2.64 ERA in 30 IP. 5 starts is way too small of a sample size for an all-star game.

The MLB choosing to showcase the Future's Game on a Saturday afternoon while all 30 MLB teams are currently playing is one of the worst acts of marketing I've ever seen. They should have made it the lone Sunday Night Baseball game this weekend
