It's time for this Monday's edition of 'Where's That Door?'

Somewhere in Stirling Castle this little door is hidden, but where?

The North Gate is one of the oldest standing parts of the castle 🏰

The Nether Bailey, tucked behind the Great Hall and accessed through the North Gate is well worth the visit as it offers spectacular, panoramic views of the beautiful countryside 🌄

Q3 We've moved to our spring/summer opening hours, so our visitors have an extra hour to wander our gardens and the castle grounds! Even with spring showers, there's plenty of indoor space to explore too 🥰🏰

Q2 Now that spring has well and truly sprung, we're spending as much time as we're able to in our Queen Anne Garden.

It's a beautiful spot in the middle of an ancient stronghold with flowers a plenty 🌹🌻

that Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' includes a joke inspired by a christening at the castle's Chapel Royal?

It was meant to impress James VI, later James I of England, who had a close relationship with Shakespeare's troupe, the King's Men.
