So StirlingSNP has put forward their budget for Stirling Council and are proposing the closure of several libraries, closing the Sistema in Fallin, cutting music tuition. But they do want to keep the canteen for Councillors open. Nice priorities guys.

Just checked. It is 8 libraries that StirlingSNP have proposed to close today. Killin, Drymen, Callander and Doune in the first year then Bridge of Allan, Dunblane and Cambusbarron in the second year. Pretty shameful proposal.

I’ve just seen the SNP’s budget proposal for Stirling Council to be debated tomorrow. Proposes to close both Dunblane and Bridge of Allan libraries in year 2. A shameful proposal. I will vote to save our libraries, just as I campaigned to do in January.
