The RE Committee decorated some slices of a fallen tree with holy symbols. These are to carry with us when we pray in our Creation Garden.

We have been using the prayer garden to reflect on the sorrowful mysteries in our RE topic (Scorging at the pillar). We had to think about something we have done wrong (begin unkind) and then pray/ask forgiveness.

This week in our history lesson in Year 2 we have learned the differences and similarities in between the holidays back in 1970 in comparison to now. We worked as a team to create Venn diagrams to show differences in accommodation, transport, entertainment, and devices.

In our maths lesson we used scales to see what the mass in cubes of some objects was. We predicted before we tested the measurements, and we checked that we improved in accuracy as we progressed in the lesson!

Year 2 observed the seeds inside various fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, and apples as part of our Science topic “Plants”. We noticed how different seeds can look, with each type having its own unique shape and size.
