Here is my first take on snow/sleet accumulation. These numbers could easily change. If air is cold enough and most falls as snow then you can increase these numbers. Event starts late Monday nigh and ends Tuesday night. Icy roads Tue morning - Wednesday morning.

A major snowstorm is coming to the Gulf Coast. All data points to an event that could be historical in our record books. There will be some mixing issues in southern areas but that transition to an all snow zone will lead to 6” totals - a few spots possibly up to 8-10”. #lawx

SNOW UPDATE: Yes totals are trending higher. This looks like a historic snowstorm for our area. It starts before sunrise Tuesday with the heaviest snow Tuesday (daytime). Most see somewhere between 3-7 inches, but I could see a few spots over 8 inches if the storm overperforms.
