Good illustration of the lingering forecast uncertainty. The GRAF and its eastern track show little more than a breezy day in Baton Rouge tomorrow. The Euro, on the west side of guidance, delivers significant winds to the Capital City. #Francine

Progression of the last 4 official forecast tracks from NHC shows a definitive eastward shift over the last 24 hours. However, latest track at 4 PM was virtually unchanged from the 10 AM advisory. Key takeaway: everyone in our area should stay prepared.

Evening spaghetti is served and I wouldn't expect any major changes with the track for #Francine at 10. Perhaps an insignificant eastward nudge. Best estimate is model plotted in the 2nd graphic.

West-southwesterly shear pretty clearly hitting #Francine tonight. Note the 'flat' appearance to the western side of the storm. Will see how well it's able to fend that off & whether it can strengthen much more. It's interesting b/c most guidance shows additional strengthening.

As expected, no significant changes in the 10 PM forecast track from NHC. Winds remain at 75 mph but pressure is down a touch more. #Francine still attempting to get a little stronger. Landfall expected tomorrow afternoon/evening.

Here's my updated take on peak wind gust potential as of the 10 PM Tuesday advisory for #Francine. These will likely not be reached in many spots & not everyone in a given range gets winds that high. Think of it as a good way to plan for the high-end potential.

Busy building graphics & juggling a bunch of other things, but note that the max winds are now up to 85 mph via a special update from NHC at 10:20 PM. #Francine

One last update on #Francine before I call it a night. Make sure you wrap up any hurricane preparations by early Wednesday. And give my YouTube channel a subscribe while you're there. youtu.be/ORmYz9iDQWM

Not what anyone in Louisiana wants to see but #Francine really blossoming tonight. Max winds up to 90 mph as of 1 AM. Looks poised to continue strengthening in the short term.

Eye of #Francine about 200 miles SW of Baton Rouge this morning. Weather goes downhill through the day. Jared Silverman & Henry Blakes have you covered this morning. I'll join in with the rest of our team later today.
