A massive thank you to our command team and all of our staff working through the horrible conditions and dealing with everything thrown at them, especially the team in South Yorks yesterday and overnight.
Some of our commissioners visited EOC recently - we had very positive feedback yesterday at a Quality meeting about staff they met and what they experienced. I think they'll be visiting our NHS111/Integrated Urgent Care service soon to meet even more of our excellent YAS team!

Some of my team did a sneaky bit of decoration while I was out.... Hopefully all this festive frivolity and good cheer will soon be over for another year!!
p.s. Hope you all have a great Christmas and New Year, and a big thanks to everyone working in and around the holiday.
Well done to all of you - its been great to have such a strong group of QI Fellows again this year, carrying our QI strategy forward.
I'm looking forward to seeing our new applicants for 2020/21 as well - anyone interested, don't miss out, put in an application now....
Went for my exercise run outside last night when I got home and finished while everyone was on their doorsteps clapping - felt like I'd just won the 5000 metre gold medal!!
Kev was a lovely man and a true professional. I was glad I could attend with Karen Owens to pay respects to our friend and colleague. Lots of others from YAS would have liked to be in Telford today so thank you to WMAS on behalf of all of us for honouring Kev in the way you did.
