Well last night I had my final shift in Critical Care after 5 incredible years (and 8 years with NHS Grampian)! It truly is bittersweet but excited for the next chapter - from SSN to Ambulance Nurse with South Central Ambulance Service in Portsmouth 🚑! Thanks for putting up with me over the years ✨

One step closer in the journey to getting out on the road as an Ambulance Nurse ✨🚑

Our service is extremely busy. As a result, some patients calling 999 who do not have a serious or life-threatening emergency requiring an immediate response may be directed to use alternative, more appropriate urgent care services.

Today I was asked to look out “the pads”.. it was at that point I forgot for a brief period of time that I now work pre-hospital and this no longer means inco pads 😑😂
