Today is National Video Game Day...sort of! Where did this day come from? What is its meaning?? We dug into it, and the answer will leave you remarkably unsatisfied. gamehistory.org/why-is-today-n…

I was only able to swing by Vintage Computer Festival West for a hot second but great to see some friends in person and Adrienne Hunter was back with her knitting machines!

Also went to the Alameda Flea Market this morning. Didn't buy anything but saw some interesting stuff. You don't see CD-i, 3DO, and Neo Geo Pocket games that often and the Bandai Aston Martin with remote ejector seat was very cool!

The Making of Karateka is everything I’ve wanted when discussing the preservation of games and sharing that knowledge with others. So much love and attention! Thank you to everyone involved in its creation and I can't recommend it enough store.steampowered.com/app/1163060/Th…

Back from a few weeks in Europe and getting reacclimated to the time zone and driving on the other side of the car/road. Mostly spent time off the grid but took one game-related photo: A small shop in Amsterdam had a surprising number of Vectrex homebrews for sale
