Comprehensive and moderately critical, this new article by İbrahim Berkan Karataş Rythme Subversif in @jconstellations (open access!) is an important piece of the growing academic literature on Byung-Chul Han. (link in reply)

I’m a big fan of Analog Forever Magazine and it was nice to hear that my favorite photo to graph from FANCY HILL is included in their new online exhibition, Harmony. (1/3)

It’s here, with infinite gratitude to Luke Hankins at Orison Books! My most distinctive book: Three Metamorphoses. The final section ends with an apocalyptic scene featuring Shiva Nataraja — who presides over the shelf of my works in my study

New episode of the podcast released yesterday. We talk about a book Byung Chul Han wrote earlier in his career about Zen Buddhism. Hope you love it and have a great rest of your week. :) #philosophy #buddhism

Jousting with AI and its followers: Many years ago, Cleanth Brooks wrote of « the heresy of paraphrase. » A poem, an epic, a novel, a nonfiction book of genuine worth simply cannot be captured by a list of “key insights.” #AI #books

Here are the opening stanzas of a poem of friendship and the wild by Blake Campbell from NVR's summer issue. Complete poem👇. I met Blake at this year's Frost Farm conference, and he is a brilliant guy who has memorized pages upon pages of poetry. It shows in his art.

If the real goal in life is to become fully human then a sure mark of progress is when you feel happy for a person for an accomplishment that would have otherwise evoked envy.

My brother, who is a truck driver (and dyslexic), has in his twenties given himself a remarkable education in classic literature and philosophy, completely through good audio books. It might exist already but we need to make *and popularize* an easy/free playlist of core books!
