I end Scots The Mither Tongue with these lines by MacDiarmid, and begin the General Election campaign with them. I will vote for The SNP as Scotland’s future depends on it. For we ha’e faith in Scotland’s hidden pouers The present’s theirs, but a’ the past and future’s oors.

On good morning Scotland SNP and Conservatives put their party leaders on and who do Labour put on ? the MP for Wolverhampton ! We've seen nothing but Sarwar and all of a sudden he's in hiding.

Well said, Alan - especially in an era when any green initiative like this is celebrated in every normal country in the world. Unionist Scotland is far from being a normal country.

Double standards pish, yes it should be called out but why not call everything out, the crucifixions, hangings, dead Salmond, all the tartanry and bagpipes and laughing about Scottish slaves, you don't need to test it against Pakistanis and the Irish, you can do it closer to home

Please support protecting the Bannockburn site from further development- the National Trust for Scotland would not have the site at all without the 1931 appeal. Unbelievable a century later that we are still neglecting our history in this, the third most visited battlefield in the UK

Very excited to share that my book "Jacobitism and Cultural Memory, 1688-1830" has been accepted and will be coming out in Cambridge University Press's Eighteenth-Century Elements series.

Of course there won't be, not only will Starmer stand in the way even if the majority want it they certainly don't want it enough, it's up to SNP to make the case, clear cut answers to the tough questions and motivation to even have the slightest chance, we have neither

"I think John is doing a very good job" but the BBC go with the negative opinion of the FORMER FM šŸ˜„ The SNP will you ever address the media bias ? they will be the end of you. If Lab get in the media will keep them there and you'll only have yourselves to blame.
