My local build of #UnrealVDB now supports all lights and Lumen GI. Having GI really grounds the VDBs in the environment and adds so much details IMO. #unrealengine #realtimeVFX #NanoVDB

Unreal 5.3 Preview is out so it's now time to test VDB import with Sparse Volume Textures (SVT) and Heterogeneous Volumes. Combined with Embergen exported simulations this is 🔥.

Cloudscape of #UE5 #VDBs and a sprinkling of spacecraft from #BigMediumSmall, in amongst gargantuan clouds of a turbulent atmosphere. Quite like how this turned out so perhaps I'll put together a small sequence of similar moving stills to some music.
