Wildfire WW Plots looking awsome, on Irrigation!

Rainfed Canola plots looking awsome this year, timely rains and lots of moisture before seeding, and surprisingly very little flea beetle damage.

Ultra early wheat looking great also! This plot was one of the first seeded on March 15, 2021

Here we go again, #Plant22, Ultra early Durum, Seeded March 21, 2022, soil temp 2.7 degrees, good seeding conditions, surprisingly dry in the top 3" but lots of moisture below that. Last seed date was Feb 9th, 2022 at 1 degrees #wheat , #durum, Brian Beres

I dug up some plants today and there are some amazing results. The bigger seeded Nov 22, 2021, they made it through the winter. The smaller seed seeded Feb 9, 2022. Maybe we are on to something here! #durum #wheat Brian Beres #Plant22

Well, we finally finished seeding #plant23, Dormant seeded Durum went in the ground Monday Nov 20th. Soil conditions were great, soil temp 1.5 degrees with cold Temps in forecast. Seeded a rainfed and Irrigated site this year. Brian Beres warren taylor, #Durum

Dormant seeded Durum, seeded Nov 20,2023 looking pretty good, suprisingly. Part of our #Ultraearly seeding project. Winter conditions were not favorable, was a lot of freeze,thaw, and warm until January, so pretty impressed it has pulled through! #durum, #wheat, #plant24

Well, we are seeding again, Nov 18, 2024 New trials again, ultra early #wheat and #barley. Soil temp on rainfed was 2.3 degrees and irrigation was 0.6 degrees. It was REALLY cold seeding, but got it in right before the snow fell. We will see how the Barley does! Brian Beres

Got out our big drill today and got some peas in the ground! Supposed to snow again tomorrow, could really use the moisture so hammer down and get some seed in the ground!
